This web site has been developed and maintained by the local D.A.R.E. Halton Board. Our civilian volunteer board is a non profit organization that raises awareness and funds in support of the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program in Halton Region. This web site is designed to provide more information about the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) Program in Halton Region as well as to supply contact information for those seeking additional information about the program.

This program was introduced into Halton Region in 1989 by the Halton Regional Police Service and is now taught to all grade six students in both the Halton Catholic and Halton Public schools.
